The Democratic Republic of the Congo ranked second among the 54 countries that make up the African continent, from its surface which is 2,345,000 km2 and it comes in fourth position still in Africa compared to demographics which is about 67-70 million as estimations. Our land occupies ninth in the world in terms of area.

It is also the only African country that is surrounded by neighbors with 9 border more or less 10,730 Km area to secure.

We share with Angola 2511 km including 225 km along the Cabinda, 2410 km with the Republic of Congo, 1,930 kilometers with Zambia, 1,577 km with the Central African Republic, 765 km with Uganda, 628 km with South Sudan 459 km with Tanzania, 233 km with Burundi and 217 km with Rwanda.
